The death rate is higher among males above 50 years (50%). No significant treatment initiation delay observed among those who had death as an outcome. HIV screening and Diabetes Screening is more than 90% in the TU and the proportion of co-infected is similar among those who died and successfully completed treatment. Adherence dashboard reveals no major issues with adherence. Telephonic key informant interviews with the program staff, Tribal Promoters and Panchayat leaders reveled delayed diagnosis due to ignorance of symptoms, poor awareness in community and among tribal promoters regarding TB diagnosis and difficult access to diagnostic facilities [Patient needs to travel 15Km to Block CHC for testing as testing is not available in PHC] leading to a long patient and system delay as an important reason.
